Ryan Maples Writer/Director

Maples has directed spots for Fortune 500 brands, including American Express, a multi-part series for Restoration Hardware, and projects for Boost Mobile, Disney, Dole, Dolby, Guinness, Sony, and many others. Maples won an international short film competition sponsored and funded by Coca-Cola with his work Saturday Night Zero premiering at Cannes Lions. 

Maples was hired as a director for the documentary TV series, "Undrafted", on the NFL Network. The series went on to garner an Emmy nomination. An avid music fan, he also co-directed and produced a feature-length documentary, Pass the Music chronicling the Los Angeles indie music scene. 

His short film Jon & the Wolf, an indie comedy about love, heartbreak, and rock and roll, played the festival circuit, including Malibu, Richmond, and San Jose International. 

His screenwriting projects, AM/FM and The Bar Mitzvah Boys, were finalists for Brian Grazer and Ron Howard's incubator program, Imagine Impact. His other works include 4 A.M., a sci-fi comedy series ranked in the Top 5 on the Red List, and Mia & The Skeletons’ Night from Hell which won accolades from several contests, including Austin, Emerging Screenwriters, and Screencraft.
